The Care Act (2014) emphasises wellbeing, prevention, and person centred care, utilising the VCS supports Wokingham to meet these statutory duties within Wokingham. The Care Act formally recognises the voluntary sector as a key partner in delivering adult social care, especially in prevention, wellbeing, and community support.
