Description

1.2. NWL has a requirement for a single supplier to carry out a comprehensive three-year electrical compliance regime for Periodic Inspection Testing (PIT) across the Northumbrian Water region. Lot 1: NWL has a requirement for a single supplier to carry out a comprehensive three-year electrical compliance regime for Periodic Inspection Testing (PIT) across the Northumbrian Water region. NWL will retain responsibility for some of the work internally on high-risk sites. The demand for PIT services is driven by the need to ensure electrical safety and compliance with regulations such as the BS7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. The outsourced service will cover approximately 74 small sites, 46 medium sites and 35 large sites per year.
