Contract OverviewMelin Homes and Newport City Homes seek to appoint a consultant to validate our stock condition data to support our progression of our merge arrangements.The contractor will be required to undertake an on site survey 5% of each association’s stock as per details below.The consultant will be responsible for ensuring that the survey sample is designed in such a way to ensure that the entire portfolio of both organisations is included within the 5% sample, to ensure that extrapolated data is robust and gives a high degree of confidence in the financial assessment undertaken.• The 5% will include general needs/55+ sheltered and specialist housing where a SCS has already been carried out• The surveys and report will be concluded and reported by 31st July 2024• The survey will include all elements of the building• Non-domestic properties are excluded from the survey and report• Cloning of surveys is not allowable
