Description

Contract award for a framework agreement (the Framework Agreement) for the purchase of Microsoft software licenses and/or services for Kristiansand Kommune [Kristiansand Municipality] (the Contracting Authority). The Framework Agreement will be signed with a Microsoft-certified CSP Tier 1 License solution provider (license administrator, ‘LSP’). The framework agreement also includes ongoing license portfolio optimisation, as well as administrative support with Microsoft. The purpose of the framework agreement is to ensure that throughout the entire contract period, the contracting authority has access to the purchase of Microsoft software licenses and/or services, LSP support services as well as LSP administrative support during renegotiation and/or signing of new Microsoft contracts. A key objective is that LSP should contribute to the client having the most cost-effective and quality-optimised Microsoft license portfolio at all times. The framework agreement includes support with Microsoft negotiations in autumn 2020, that will lead to signing a new 3 year Microsoft CAMPUS and/or EA contract valid from 1 January 2021. The framework agreement also includes the purchase of Microsoft software licenses and/or services through the Microsoft CSP, Select Plus and MPSA programs. The framework agreement includes an option for Software Asset Management (‘SAM’).
