United Utilities (UU) is preparing for the AMP8 and AMP9 programmes, which involve significant capital investments in the North West region. To support these Capital Delivery programmes, UU seeks to appoint commercial partners that can provide a range of essential activities and consultancy services These services will encompass various domains including Commercial Assurance & Audit, Project Management, Programme Management, Project controls, Construction Services & Supervision, Commercial Consultancy, and Estimating within the Capital Delivery space The scope for the AMP8 and AMP9 programmes is extensive and involves collaboration with partners in various roles, such as CDPs (Capital Delivery Partners), SSTs (Strategic Solutions Teams), Detailed Design and Build, DDPs (Design and Development Partners), among others. The partners appointed will be expected to provide strategic services and work closely with UU and the broader supply chain to achieve programme-level and outcome-focused objectives. The strategic services provide by the commercial partners will be achieved through close collaboration with UU and the supply chain. These services will generally be programme-level and outcome-focused, with the commercial partner providing initiatives that may include, but are not limited to, programme and contract management reporting, provision of NEC Contract Management Software, training (e.g., NEC), risk and opportunity management, integrated risk and value management.
