Description
The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking a main contractor to undertake a 2 Stage Design & Build 2016 with a PCSA Agreement prior to agreeing a fixed price, on RIBA Stage 3+ information to build 32 units on the car park site on the Brunton Wharf Estate, Limehouse The proposed development seeks the development of 32 affordable rent residential units, along with new amenity, child play space, wider estate security upgrades and improvements to the existing under-croft parking. The scheme meets the definition of a High-Risk Building (HRB) and, as such, the requirements of the Building Safety Act apply. The revised scheme reflects significant changes made to the design to comply with recent regulatory changes following publication of the Building Safety Act.
