The University of Birmingham invites tenders for supply of a three-year Maintenance and Support contract for a MEG system and associated IHR (Elekta Neuromag® TRIUX Basic Measurement System with IHR) located at the Centre for Human Brain Health, University of Birmingham. The contract provider will be able to fully service, repair, troubleshoot any issues associated with this system. The provider will ensure a quality, customer service level and will ensure the system and its operators are fully supported. This will include but not be exclusive to 24/7 emergency response, parts, and on-site attendance within 48 hours. This project may be funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) or; - European Structural and Investment Fund (ESIF) or; - Research Councils UK (RCUK), the strategic partnership of the UK's seven Research Councils. Lot 1: The University of Birmingham invites tenders for supply of a three-year Maintenance and Support contract for a MEG System with IHR (Elekta Neuromag® TRIUX Basic Measurement System with IHR - This TRIUX MEG system has 306 sensors distributed over the head with 204 planar gradiometers and 102 magnetometers supported by noise-resilient ARMOR(TM) sensor technology) located at the Centre for Human Brain Health, University of Birmingham. The provider will ensure a quality, customer service level and will ensure the system and its operators are fully supported and trained where necessary. 1) Technical Support; i. Remote Support via phone, email or online. ii. Access to relevant software releases, manuals and general technical information. 2) Usage Support; i. Remote support via phone, email or online. 3) Planned Maintenance (yearly); i. Planned yearly maintenance visits in coordination with the Centre/Facility lead. ii. This will include software updates, preventative solutions to mitigate issues and ensure performance. 4) Parts and Corrective Maintenance; i. Parts will be included within the service contract. ii. Reactive maintenance for on-site repairs. iii. On site attendance within 48 hours. 5) Guarantee for Uptime above 95% threshold during a 12-month period The maintenance/support required needs to include: - tuning and/or replacement of faulty SQUID sensors - maintenance of electronics rack - maintenance of dewar (warmup and vacuum pumping) - maintenance of He recycler - maintenance of peripherals including participants support ('chair') - maintenance of MSR
