Description

Non-exclusive framework agreement for the supply of catering consumables and equipment to NHS Supply Chain depots via the Stocked/Blue Diamond route or direct to customers via the eDirect/direct route to market. This framework agreement is for 24 months with the option to extend for two periods of 12 months, up to 24 months in total. Lot 1: Catering Consumables — Disposables This lot is for the supply of disposable catering products of various sizes including but not limited to: — cups and lids, — disposable cutlery, — film and foil, — food packaging, — straws, — foils, — tableware, — paper bags, — sustainable disposables. All accessories relating to catering disposables are included within this lot. Applicants who wish to submit a tender for this lot must tender for all products listed within this lot. The products within this lot are supplied to the NHS Supply Chain customer base via the Stock, Blue Diamond and eDirect Routes. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the framework agreement, the value of purchases for this lot will be circa GBP 12 000 000 excluding VAT and for the full 48-month term (if extended), the anticipated value will be circa GBP 28 000 000 excluding VAT. Lot 2: Vending and Non Vending Cups This lot is for the supply of disposable cups including but not limited to: — vending cups, — cold water cups. Applicants who wish to submit a tender for this lot must tender for all products listed within this lot. The products within this lot are supplied to the NHS Supply Chain customer base via the Stocked, Blue Diamond or eDirect route. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the framework agreement, the value of purchases for this lot will be circa GBP 3 000 000 excluding VAT and for the full 48-month term (if extended), the anticipated value will be circa GBP 6 400 000 excluding VAT. Lot 3: Catering Consumables — Non-disposables This lot is for the supply of non-disposable tableware and catering products of various sizes including but not limited to: — catering clothing, — crockery, — cutlery, — vitrified hotel ware, — cookware, — glassware, — tableware, — thermometers, — jugs and tumblers, — patient hydration, — light domestic catering equipment. All accessories relating to non disposable catering ware are included within this lot. Applicants which wish to submit a tender for this lot must tender for all products listed within this lot. The products within this lot are supplied to the NHS Supply Chain customer base via the Stock, Blue Diamond and eDirect Routes. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the framework agreement, the value of purchases for this lot will be circa GBP 4 000 000 excluding VAT and for the full 48-month term (if extended), the anticipated value will be circa GBP 10 000 000 excluding VAT. Lot 4: NHS Branded Crockery This lot is for the supply of NHS Branded Crockery of various sizes including but not limited to: — NHS branded plates, — NHS branded bowls, — NHS branded cups, — NHS branded saucers. Applicants who wish to submit a tender for this lot must tender for all products listed within this lot. The products within this lot are supplied to the NHS Supply Chain customer base via the Stock, Blue Diamond and eDirect Routes. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the framework agreement, the value of purchases for this lot will be circa GBP 800 000 excluding VAT and for the full 48-month term (if extended), the anticipated value will be circa GBP 2 000 000 excluding VAT. Lot 5: Capital and Commercial Catering Equipment with Associated Accessories and Light Equipment This lot includes the supply of various types of commercial catering equipment including: food preparation, cooking, refrigeration and washing equipment. Products include but shall not be limited to: — microwaves, — grills, — griddles, — blenders, — mixers, — slicers, — mincers, — bain marries, — refrigeration, — warewashing, — prime cooking, — serving counters, — heated displays, — gas/electric ovens, and — grills and fryers. All accessories relating to capital and commercial catering equipment are included within this lot. Applicants may tender for one, more than one or all of the product lines listed within this lot. The products within this lot are supplied to the NHS Supply Chain customer base via the eDirect or Direct Route. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the framework agreement, the value of purchases for this lot will be circa GBP 3 000 000 excluding VAT and for the full 48-month term (if extended), the anticipated value will be circa GBP 7 000 000 excluding VAT. Lot 6: Food Transportation Systems with Associated Accessories This lot includes the supply of various types of food transportation systems to enable customers to transport food from kitchens to wards in various temperature states (frozen, ambient or heated). Products include but shall not be limited to: — food transportation systems, — cook-serve, cook-chill or cook-freeze food service trolleys, — docking stations, — hot and refrigerated systems, — tray service trolleys for clean and used plates; and — specialist equipment for individual barcoded plated meals. All accessories relating to food transportation systems are included within this lot. Applicants may tender for one, more than one or all of the product lines listed within this lot. The products within this lot are supplied to the NHS Supply Chain customer base via the eDirect or Direct Route. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the framework agreement, the value of purchases for this lot will be circa GBP 2 500 000 excluding VAT and for the full 48-month term (if extended), the anticipated value will be circa GBP 5 000 000 excluding VAT.
