Supply and/or maintain outdoor drinking water fountains in London. Thames Water is looking to source a supplier to “supply” drinking water fountains within London, UK. The fountains will be purchased via called offs as and when required. Fountains will be installed in high foot fall, public areas within the Thames Water supply zones and will be metered. Water will be dispensed from the mains water supply directly to the public, via these free water fountains. Fountains shall operate without electricity, be simple to use, reliant and vandal resistant, with dispensing for bottle refills and/or direct drinking. A variety of drinking water fountain models will be included in the ITN. It is envisaged that this project will boost awareness of the quality of Thames Waters' tap water and support the reduction of single use plastic bottles.
