Margate Skatepark Design and Build

Description

For the provision of a Skatepark build in Margate, Kent. The Employer will enter into a JCT Design and Build contract with the successful specialist contractor with the experience, track record, capability and capacity to deliver a skatepark new build of the scale and complexity outlined in the Appendix A - Specification. The contract will include consultations and engagement activity to ensure the proposed design meets with local aspirations, has a degree of challenge to suit all levels of abilities, will achieve planning approval and can be delivered within the project budget and timescales. (the project needs to be delivered and operational by mid July 2026, with a 3 month defects period). The Contract is anticipated to commence upon October 2025 for a duration of 12 Months. The procurement process will be undertaken on the basis of formal quotations. Evaluation will be on the basis of criteria and methodology as set out in the Invitation to Tender document. Any clarifications or questions must be submitted via the Message area of the Kent Business Portal by no later than 14.00hrs on 01 September 2025. Completed tender documents must be submitted electronically via the Kent Business Portal by no later than 14.00hrs on 09 September 2025.
