MOGEELY and CASTLEMARTYR INTERIM FLOOD MITIGATION MEASURES

Description

The objective of this project is the identification, design and submission (for planning consent) of Interim Flood Mitigation Measures which are technically, socially, environmentally and economically acceptable, to alleviate the risk of flooding to the Communities of Mogeely and Castlemartyr to a determined Standard of Protection in advance of a future Flood Relief Scheme. All data gathered and interim Flood Mitigation measures proposed will compliment any future flood relief scheme. At the end of this project the consultant will have obtained planning permission for a limited number of interim flood mitigation measures for Mogeely and Castlemartyr.
