Public transport services by railways

This is not a call for competition. The West Midlands Combined Authority [WMCA], are seeking expressions of interest from suppliers and registration to attend a virtual supplier event on 20 October 2020 via Teams for approximately 1.5 hours. WMCA are planning to let a framework agreement for the supply, installation and maintenance of fare collection, payment and revenue protection equipment. This may include: ticket validation equipment, handheld revenue protection devices, hardware/software and ancillary equipment and services. It is intended that the ticketing solution will include cEMV, ITSO and Barcodes To express an interest and receive further information regarding our supplier engagement event, please see section for additional Information. Water and vandal resistant public transport ticket validators and handheld inspection devices able to read ITSO, cEMV and barcode tickets and products on paper, card and mobile devices together with the Back Office systems to support the same.
