Lot 1: General aims: The general aims are connected to be setting goals/vision, principles, and the realisation of gains in Kongsbergregionen's joint digitalisation strategy. A baselined process has been carried out that defined the general goals for the work. This is not part of this procurement: It is important to ensure continual access to map systems for the municipality, so that employees can solve their daily work tasks and inhabitants, holiday residents, and businesses have a daily service offer. Many of the assignments in the municipality are fully or partially dependent on access to good map systems in order to read, edit, and analyse geographical data. It is also particularly important for inhabitants, holiday residents, and businesses to have insight into information from the land register and area plans. The municipalities in the regional cooperation currently have technical systems that, in isolation, are seen as satisfactory for the individual municipalities. A joint mapping of needs gives possibilities to map and meet any need that have previously not been discovered. This particularly applies within the focus areas for making work assignments more efficient, expanded use of geodata across each organisation, and increased use of geographical information in analyses and decision bases. Furthermore, joint needs can facilitate further development of cooperation in the region. This will be a continuing service contract, i.e., the contract will run until one of the parties gives notice on it. The contract duration given in Mercell is a guideline, but it does not apply.
