TIS - Contract for a shared cloud-based library system for 6 municipalities in West Telemark

The Telemark Procurement Collaboration [Telemark Innkjøpssamarbeid - TIS] (hereinafter referred to as the contracting authority) invites tenderers to an open tender contest in connection with the commencement of a contract for a new cloud-based shared library system for 6 municipalities in West Telemark, and has professional responsibility for carrying out this contest. Lot 1: The purpose of the new shared cloud-based library system is to find user-friendly digital solutions. The systems will be involved in maintaining cooperation between the libraries in West Telemark, will have a user-friendly interface for the target groups, and will be rigged for current and future needs. The basis for this announcement is that the current library system is being phased out by the current tenderer. The new library system must cover the needs of all employees in the libraries. Users of the new library system will be the employees of the libraries, teachers, students and other citizens. The participating municipalities have approx. 14,000 inhabitants combined, and the type of library varies from municipality to municipality.
