The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) is conducting a Preliminary Market Consultation in preparation for a potential future procurement of branded stationery and mementos, to be distributed during Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2026. The key objectives of this consultation are to: 1. assess the structure, capacity, and capability of the market to supply branded stationery and mementos for Ireland’s Presidency of the EU Council during the period from July to December 2026, 2. enhance the DFAT’s understanding of the range of suppliers capable of providing high-quality branded stationery and suitable memento items, 3. identify potential challenges, constraints and risk factors associated with the timely provision of branded stationery and mementos throughout the Presidency period, 4. gather information on available products, including specifications, sustainability features, certifications and indicative pricing models, 5. ensure value for money, and 6. inform the market of a potential forthcoming procurement opportunity. Market operators are invited to respond, addressing the consultation objectives, using the Response form provided at 'Appendix 1' of the PMC document. Proposals must be submitted using the PMC electronic ‘Send Proposal’ box available on eTenders.
