The Student Loans Company Limited (SLC) are seeking Expressions of Interest with regards to the provision of : • Lot A - IBM Storage • Lot B - IBM Power IBM Storage and Power products. All potential suppliers are required to complete the questionnaire enclosed on the following DeltaEsourcing link. It shall be the suppliers responsibility to gain access to this portal. https://www.delta-esourcing.com/delta/buyers/select/viewListStatus.html?id=962759615 IBM Storage • 6x IBM FlashSystem 9500s with 20x 19.2Tb FCM4 disks per enclosure • 32Gb Fibre Cards • Storage Encryption Key plus offsite Cloud Store (IBM SGDKLM) • Copy Data Manager (CDM) for Orchestration (5 years) • Predatar Clean Room for 5 years • MFA - IBM security Verify / Duo Security (and purchase capability for existing SAN Switches too) • 5 years Maintenance • 15 days Expert Lab Services for setup and installation • IBM Storage Expert Care Premium - 5 years IBM Power Option 1: 4 x E1050 - Midrange solution, each with: 96 Cores Installed / 27 Cores Active 3TB DDR5 Memory AIX Operating System 5 Years Hardware and Software Maintenance (Advanced ExpertCare) + 100,000 ECOD Days Option 2: 4 x E1080 - Enterprise solution, each with: 80 Cores Installed / 23 Cores Active 3TB DDR5 Memory AIX Operating System 5 Years Hardware and Software Maintenance (Advanced ExpertCare) + 85,000 ECOD Days SLC shall retain the right to chose what ever option mentioned above they decide is the most appropriate to their requirements and shall not be bound by supplier preferences. It is envisaged any procurement activity will be undertaken via CCS Framework RM6098 - Technology Products & Associated Services 2 Lot 2 (Hardware) https://www.crowncommercial.gov.uk/agreements/RM6098. All potential suppliers are asked to be registered on the above agreement.
