Description

The project consists of a visual inspection of the submarine cables Spain-Morocco (ESMA) electrical interconnection that consists of two cables ESMA I (30 km between Tarifa (Spain) and Fardouia (Morocco) and4x400 kV SCFF) and ESMA II (30 km between Tarifa (Spain) and Fardouia (Morocco) and 3x400 kV SCFF). Maximum depth approximately of 640 metres. This project is part of the agreement that exists between REE and ONEE for the construction and operation of the electrical interconnection between Spain and Morocco. Maintenance work scheduled in accordance with the inspection criteria defined in the performance as detailed in the technical specifications for the submarine inspection of the existing 7 cables in the Spain-Morocco interconnection. Pay responsibilities for work performed must be borne 50 % by REE and 50 % by ONEE (both owners of such interconnection).
