Ofgem is seeking to procure three separate but related modelling exercises exploring: 1. The benefit of GB transmission reinforcement under a zonal wholesale market paradigm. 2. The marginal benefit of additional interconnection under a zonal wholesale market paradigm. 3. The total system cost implications of a local generation sensitivity, including implications on optimal transmission reinforcement, under a national wholesale market paradigm.
