Dumfries and Galloway Council (DGC) are going to the market for support with the completion of Adult Social Care Reviews. The service is currently facing significant budget pressures and is in the process of transitioning to early intervention and strength-based care provision models. The service is looking to test alternative care assessment provision and will use this tender to test some of the requirements of future care models. Lot 1: Service Requirement The Council is seeking to understand the market’s ability to deliver a fully managed service for adult social care assessments and reviews. The service may include, but is not limited to: Completion of adult social care assessments and reviews. Review and updating of support plans where required. Case screening and prioritisation. Allocation of cases to suitably qualified social workers. Direct day-to-day management of the social work workforce. Full quality assurance of all completed work prior to submission to the Council. Integration with Council systems, processes, templates and expectations. Weekly performance reporting and management information. Regular operational and contract review meetings. Escalation and management of risks, issues and delays. Support with continuous improvement, learning and feedback.. Quality assurance will be a key requirement of any future service. The Council is seeking a provider that can demonstrate a robust and structured approach to quality assurance, ensuring all assessments, reviews and support plans are completed to a consistently high standard.
