This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) only: Publication and Call for Competition will be Conducted once Scope of Work is fully Defined and Approved. Subject to joint Council approval and Planning consent Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeenshire Council and the Moray Council (together hereinafter referred to as the ‘Authorities’) are working together to potentially procure a contractor to design, build and operate an energy from waste facility for up to 25 years (the ‘Project’) at East Tullos Industrial Estate, Aberdeen. The exact scope of work is yet to be finalised and the Authorities are considering options for the facility, its construction and operation. We welcome comments from the market on this. Potential suppliers are expected to have demonstrated experience in construction, engineering and operation of Energy from Waste facilities.
