Oldham Council Highways Department has an annual, seasonal and ad-hoc requirement for the provision of a range of hire plant, manned plant, winter maintenance and equipment. The intention is to form a framework of contractors to supply plant in 6 lots covering all requirements of the highways department: — Lot 1: Large Plant without Operator, — Lot 2: Large plant with Operator, — Lot 3: Small Plant, — Lot 4: Traffic Lights, — Lot 5: Winter Maintenance, — Lot 6: Skilled Labour. Plant required but not limited to: — dumper trucks, — mini excavators, — rollers, — tractors. Plant required but not limited to: — dumper trucks, — mini excavators, — rollers, — tractors, — mini Paver, — gully wagon, — jetter, — tipper wagon, — patch planer, — road sweeper. Plant required but not limited to: — air hose, — hydraulic power pack and breaker, — hedge trimmer, — strimmer, — abrasive stihl saw, — transformer, — 1/2 bag cement mixer, — vibrating plant (small/medium/large), — 18" floor saw, — generator 2KVA, — vibrating Poker, — rampactor, — reversible vibe plates, — submersible pump, — sludge pump, — 4 x man solar powered site cabin, — flag/kerb lifter, — suppressors for sthil saws, — towable Compressor, — cobra upright breaker, — kango hammer, — hilti drill, — transformer 110. Equipment required but not limited to: — 2 way lights (mains and battery operated), — 3 way lights (mains and battery operated), — 4 way lights (mains and battery operated), — impact protection vehicle inclusive of TM crew, — traffic management crew. Machinery required but not limited to: — snow blower, — tractor front/rear mounted snow blowers, — tractor and towable gritter, — tractor and gritter, — tractor and plough, — tele handler trained operative. Operatives with a variety of plant machinery skills.
