Sullied Sediments is an EU North Sea Interreg funded project which seeks to map contaminants in fresh water sediments including priority pollutants and “watch-list” chemicals. This information can be used to advise on the state of the sediment to allow rational decisions to be made on the fate of dredged material. The University of Hull is seeking to purchase a LCMSMS instrument via this tender which will be used for biomedical analysis of metabolite profiles from various tissue samples and biological fluids later.
