School catering services

Description

Thomas Tallis School invites tenders for the full supply of catering services to the Royal Borough of Greenwich Schools via a single-supplier framework agreement, based upon the terms and conditions contained in this tender specification. The framework agreement allows potentially all local education authority (LEA) schools to join. Thomas Tallis School is acting a central purchasing body conducting the procurement on behalf of itself and these other schools. The schools listed in the pricing documentation are intending to award call-off contracts on the establishment of the framework. The process will award two separate single-supplier framework agreements, one for primary and nursery schools and the other for secondary schools’ needs. The contract will cover the full catering provision including any hospitality required for primary, nursery and secondary schools as required. In accordance with Public Contract Regulation 55 (1) (a) and Regulation 55 (2) (b) Thomas Tallis school as the contracting authority (CA) has made the decision to abandon OJEU contract notice Ref: 2020/S 042-100574 (Schools Catering Services). This decision has been made due to the current exceptional circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 virus outbreak and subsequent partial boroughwide school closures. It is the intention of the CA to commence a new procurement procedure early December 2020 however this decision again will be based on the circumstances and marketplace at time of intended publication. This will apply to both lots 1 and 2.
