West Dunbartonshire’s Alcohol and Drug Partnership are looking to evolve how we deliver support services to those experiencing challenges relating to addictions, given changing demographics and local need. In 2024 we developed our new strategy, a copy of this can be accessed via this notice. We would like to invite interested providers to an initial event where we can introduce our plans and have an open discussion with providers about their experiences of delivering these services and the outcomes achieved. If your organisation is experienced in delivering the following types of services, then this may be an opportunity for you to support WD ADP in its next exciting phase. Children and young people’s service (prevention, early intervention and diversionary) Step Down from Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services Intensive support services (not multi-complex or near fatal overdose) Counselling and Peer Support services To find out more and to see how you could shape our new outlook in Addiction services in West Dunbartonshire come and join us on Friday the 25th of April at 10:30am to 12:30pm in the Ballantines Room at our Head Office, 16 Church Street, Dumbarton, G82 1QL.
