The Isle of Wight Council (“the Authority”) invited tenders from suitably qualified providers (“tenderers”) for the provision of community Occupational Therapy (OT) services on the Isle of Wight. The contracts are to run from 1.8.2018 for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further period of up to 2 years at the sole discretion of the Authority. This tender was divided into 2 lots. Tenderers could bid for either or both lots. 1 Supplier will be appointed per lot: — Lot 1 is the community occupational therapy first response and low level support service, — Lot 2 is the community occupational therapy services. This service provision within this lot includes the following requirements: — receive all referrals for community occupational therapy, — screen all referrals for community occupational therapy, — categorise all referrals for community occupational therapy as high / medium / low in accordance with agreed criteria, — refer all medium or high risk referrals to the Authority’s appointed contractor for medium and high risk assessments, — provide for timely occupational therapy assessments for those who are low risk at the Independent Living Centre that support people on the Isle of Wight to maintain their independence within their home environment through provision of early intervention and prevention support, — provide timely walking assessment for blue badge applicants. The expected allocated budget per annum for Lot 1 is up to 180 000,00 GBP. The decision has been taken to disclose the annual budget for each service and ask that tenderers demonstrate how they can deliver the service within this budget allocation the Authority is unable to consider any submission that does not come within this figure; however, tenderers are able to submit under the allocated budget. The expected allocated budget per annum for Lot 2 is up to 320 000,00 GBP. The decision has been taken to disclose the annual budget for each service and ask that tenderers demonstrate how they can deliver the service within this budget allocation the Authority is unable to consider any submission that does not come within this figure; however, tenderers are able to submit under the allocated budget.
