Description

Dublin City Council wishes to invite tenders from established fine art shipping agents, for a Contract to coordinate all loans to the exhibition ‘Andy Warhol: Three Times Out’ at Hugh Lane Gallery (exhibition dates 04 October 2023 to 28 January 2024). This large-scale exhibition will comprise of approximately 250 artworks – mostly by Warhol, and featuring some large works on canvas, many smaller framed prints/drawings, and some archival material – with loans from numerous international lenders, from UK, Europe, and the majority from USA. The scope of requirements for this tender is the provision by an established fine art shipping agent of all international transport arrangements, to include administrative preparation for the assembly in Dublin, coordination, and dispersal of exhibition at its close (loan works returning back to each lender). A contract will be awarded for a period of twelve (12) months with an option to extend by a further twelve (12) months at the sole discretion of Dublin City Council.
