The Charter Schools Educational Trust currently includes The Charter School, Red Post Hill, London, SE24 9JH with a student roll of 1200 and The Charter School East Dulwich, Southampton Way, London, SE5 7EW with a student roll of 420 (Sept 2018). The Charter School East Dulwich is a new school with a growing student roll based on a temporary site. Whilst The Charter School East Dulwich temporary site does have a small kitchen and service counter the majority of hot food for lunch time is currently produced at The Charter School and transferred by the school. The Charter School East Dulwich will transfer to its new permanent site at East Dulwich Grove, London, SE22 8PT in January 2019. The Charter Schools Educational Trust is looking to appoint one catering company to manage a three year catering contract across its 2 schools. Companies will be required to provide two different styles of catering services at the schools. The Charter School currently has a multi-outlet catering service that includes 2 hot counters (mirrored service), a grab and go hot and cold outlet, an external cube and a Sixth Form café provision. The Charter School East Dulwich currently offers either a hot or cold meal deal at lunchtime and only fruit at morning break. The school proposes that the lunchtime meal deal (only) offer will continue into the new build.
