BME EEA 2023-12 Pilot development of new market stalls

Description

Bymiljøetaten needs a supplier who can contribute to the development, engineering design, production and delivery of market stalls for a pilot project at the Fish Market ('Fisketorget') in Bergen. A supplier is now wanted that can contribute to the development process of the two prototypes, with responsibility for the development of technical solutions and production of two stalls for testing. The engineering design shall be carried as a development phase with cooperation between the supplier and Bymiljøetaten. Dialogues with the user shall be included in the development phase. Expertise (engineering design and execution) in industrial design, statics, commercial kitchens and metal work. Lot 1: As part of the development, a pilot project shall be carried out with two different prototypes for testing the design and the functionality. New market stalls are part of the work on the design and use of urban spaces along Bryggen and Fisketoget. This is a further development of the winning proposal from the planning and design contest ''Market Square Bryggen' that was held in 2019. Bymiljøetaten has in collaboration with the winning team, 'Mot Vågen', created a concept for new market stalls.
