Provision of Electrical Power Supply for Electrical Power Supply for the ECB Premises [PRO-006273]

Description

The European Central Bank is seeking through this accelerated open procedure a supplier for the provision of power supply for the ECB’s premises and intends to award a contract (the ‘Contract’) to the supplier offering the best price. The supply of power shall consist of green electricity from regenerative sources, verified by the Federal Environment Agency’s origin register (Herkunftsnachweis), or equivalent. The use of the network is to be agreed by the successful Tenderer in its own name with the respective network operator ('Händlerrahmenvertrag'). The local net operator is Netzdienste Rhein Main GmbH. The ECB reserves the right to agree separately on the use of the network with the network operator at a later date ('Netznutzungsvertrag'). Lot 1: The ECB requires green electricity from regenerative sources. Tenderers shall proof that they have provided such green electricity from regenerative sources in the past. The overall annual consumption based on the experience of previous years is estimated at 23 GWh (22,909 GWh) per year, with no major changes expected to the consumption characteristics. Considering the desired flexibility limit of +/- 10 % consumption may vary between 25 GWh (25,199 GWh) and 20,5 GWh (20,618 GWh).
