Technical Assistance Programme Supporting EIB Intermediated Lending Operation for Small and Medium Agri-Food Sector Investments Integrating Smallholders

Description

The overall objective of this TA Programme is to support access to finance for the agricultural sector by enhancing the FI’s capacity to assess, execute and monitor longer-term investment projects in agri-food value chains that aim to integrate smallholder farmers in the respective value chain. A cross-cutting objective applicable to all activities foreseen in this TA Programme, is to facilitate the deployment of EIB funding in an efficient, responsible and sustainable manner, in accordance with the Bank’s standards and requirements, particularly in the spheres of agri-food sector eligibility and of environmental and social sustainability.
