Description
As an enhancement to the streetscape improvement works being undertaken by ECC Highways on the 3 High St alleyways (Bank Passage, Pelham’s Lane, St Nicholas Passage) using LEP Growth funding, this BIFA project will deliver a range of wrought ironwork overthrow installations at the entrances to the alleyways that will provide both an interpretation of the heritage of the area as well as create attractive features for visitors to the town to enjoy. The Wrought Ironwork must be manufactured as detailed below and finished as follows: •The Finish shall be a Two pack MIO (Micaceous Iron Oxide) •Anti-rust treatment: Hot Zinc dipped or Hot Zinc Spray (no need to etch). •Fabrication to latest British Standard (finishes and welding)
