Technical Assistance for Preparation and Procurement of the Kharkiv City Urban Electric Transport Project

Description

The main objective of the technical assistance is to upgrade tram services in Kharkiv by procuring new trams and by upgrading and modernising track, systems and depot infrastructure. For the preparation phase, the objective is to assist the city of Kharkiv (the promoter) to prepare an investment project that can be financed by the EIB. For the procurement phase, the objective is to support the promoter to prepare tender documentation for one or more contracts, covering: (i) supply contract(s) for the new tram fleet; (ii) works contract(s) covering track and depot renewals; and (iii) consultancy contract for work supervision, and to provide support during tender stage until contracts signature.
