Lot 1 – Repair of Motors The Scope of Work shall include for all works predominantly associated with repair, rewind and overhaul of Electric Motors. Lot 2 Variable Speed Drive Repair The Scope of Work shall include for all works predominantly associated with repair, reassembly and testing of Variable Speed Drives. This notice has been edited to remove sensitive information after publication Lot 1: Repair of Motors The Scope of Work shall include for all works predominantly associated with repair, rewind, testing and overhaul of LV Electric Motors. The Contractor shall be expected to provide these services on a planned and reactive basis. The Contractor will be required to ensure each repair/ installation complies with the relevant British Standard Requirements for Electrical Installations and UU Asset Standards. The specific work requirements may entail but not be limited to some or all of the following elements as required by the Person Coordinating the Works (PCW) 365 day–24 hour–7 days a week;- Lot 2: Repair of Variable Speed Drives Scope of Services to cover the repair of Variable Speed Drives (VSD’s) that are used on Company sites, throughout its Operational Area. VSD original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) include but are not limited to, ABB, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, Vatech, Heenan/FKI, Telemecanique, Siemens and Schneider. The Contractor will be required to ensure each repair/ installation complies with the relevant British Standard Requirements for Electrical Installations and UU Asset Standards.
