E6/national road 827 Low Emission Ferries.

Description

The project is part of the development to facilitate zero or low emission ferries on the national road ferry routes E6 Bognes – Skarberget and National Road 827 Drag – Kjøpsvik. There will also be measured for improved universal design of the same ferry berths, as well as increase the capacity of parking spaces on the National Road 827 connection. Service buildings will be built on all ferry berths, and conduits for a 22KV line will be laid for future technical buildings for a new ferry operator starting operating the connections on 01.12.2022. A new ferry quay will be built at Kjøpsvik. The thee other ferry quays will be reconstructed. The additional quay will be extended and widened, and the ferry quay bridge at Drag will be replaced. The entrance fairway at Skarberget will be deepened/widened, resulting in underwater blasting.
