Description

Provision of primary care GP services, urgent care services and GP out of hours for patients within Hammersmith and Fulham CCG. Direct award of an interim contract for a period of 12 months to enable the CCG to complete work to review new pathways and procure new contracts. Recognising its obligations and responsibilities under the NHS (Procurement Patient Choice and Competition)(No.2) Regulations 2013, the CCG has assessed the most appropriate route to awarding this contract, having regard to the necessity to secure continuity of these essential patient services and has concluded that the incumbent provider will assure the safest solution and being considered the only technically capable provider at this time. The service is to be split into 3 contracts: APMS is currently being procured already as part of NW London APMS T7 to be awarded Oct19; Urgent Treatment Centre is being re-specified during 2019 take to market within year; GP OOH element is being procured as part of NWL Integrated Urgent Care contract during 2019.
