Description

The aim of the procurement is to get tenders for a digital cytology diagnostic system with a scanner. AI algorithm and viewer in order to assist in the screening of cell samples from the cervix prepared with ThinPrep processor at St. Olav Hospital. Lot 1: The aim of the procurement is to get tenders for a digital cytology diagnostic system with a scanner. AI algorithm and viewer in order to assist in the screening of cell samples from the cervix prepared with ThinPrep processor at St. Olav Hospital. The system will be used for assessing cell samples from the cervix. The system will select which cells must be assessed and present this in a gallery on a computer monitor. The diagnosis will be based on pictures that the system chooses with the help of AI-based algorithms. There are currently 20,000 cytology samples a year. A contract will be signed with 1 tenderer, which will include everything in the procurement. Tenders must be used on price per approved sample result (PPX). PPX must include a scanner. AI based picture analysis instrument and viewer, possibly middleware including licences/updates/maintenance, supplier-specific calibrators, technical service in the form of a full service contract, defined response time in the event of problems, support, connection to ICT infrastructure, installation, running-in, training in the system, and user meetings.
