Description
Cheltenham Borough Council (the "Council") intends to enter into a contract for consultancy services with Nick Sturge (trading under the company name of Omnigenix) in relation to consultancy services (the "Services") in respect of the Golden Valley, Cyber Central development (the "Contract"). Omnigenix have provided existing services to the Council in respect of the Golden Valley, Cyber Central redevelopment scheme under a contract that is due to expire in July 2022. The Council intends to enter into a further contract with Omnigenix to provide the Services into the commencement of the Golden Valley, Cyber Central redevelopment to ensure continuity of delivery of the Services. Lot 1: Cheltenham Borough Council (the "Council") intends to enter into a contract for consultancy services with Nick Sturge (trading under the company name of Omnigenix) in relation to consultancy services (the "Services") in respect of the Golden Valley, Cyber Central development (the "Contract"). Omnigenix have provided existing services to the Council in respect of the Golden Valley, Cyber Central redevelopment scheme under a contract that is due to expire in July 2022. The Council intends to enter into a further contract with Omnigenix to provide the Services into the commencement of the Golden Valley, Cyber Central redevelopment to ensure continuity of delivery of the Services. The Services that Omnigenix provide include the following: - Advise the Council on the requirements and options for a new Cyber Innovation Centre centred in Cheltenham - Advise the council on the planning and delivery of a financially viable operational model for the Innovation Centre - Advise the Council on the creation of a local Cyber cluster that reflects the requirements of the local and regional cyber ecosystem - Provide stakeholder management within the Cyber and tech industries and advice on stakeholder mapping and strategy - Facilitate links and advisee on various collaboration options with local academic institutions - Facilitate links with relevant government authorities and advice on the ongoing strategy and tactics - Create and manage a Cyber Leadership Board to advice the Council The Contract will be for a fixed 12 months period with an option to extend (at the Council's discretion) for up to a further 12 months. The initial duration of the Contract is from 1st August 2022 to 31st July 2023, working 2.5 days a month at a daily rate of £785 excluding VAT.
