Description
Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG), Manchester’s largest social housing provider manages 14,000 properties and plans to build 1,100 more in five years. The UK is transitioning from analogue PSTN to digital services by January 2027, impacting systems such as telecare, warden call, alarms, door entry, CCTV, and payment terminals. Government guidance prioritises safeguarding telecare users during this switchover. WCHG seeks support to manage implications for its Extra Care portfolio, starting with Village 135 (135 apartments with 24/7 care). The project will be split into two Lots: Lot 1: Specialist consultancy for strategic advice, technical assessments, and migration planning. Lot 2: Practical delivery, including supply, installation, and commissioning of digital solutions.
