Prior Information notice - Connecting to the research network

Innovation Norway intends to extend the contract with Sikt (formerly Uninett) concerning connection to the research network, with built-in access to services such as Eduroam and internet access. The justification for the procurement procedure can be found in the announcement form. Lot 1: Network connection via Sikt is utilised by all state universities and university colleges. Research institutions and other organisations that operate non-commercial activity related to research or education can also be connected to the research network. Research projects in commercial companies that are linked to an existing customer can get access to the research network in for a limited period of time. The research network in Norway is developed and operated by Sikt and is the only supplier of this type of service.
