Description
Provision of ECLO services for Yeovil District Hospital. Lot 1: Provision of Eye Care Liaison Officer (ECLO) Services for Yeovil District Hospital. <br/><br/>Services to be provided include:<br/>• Deliver ECLO services, in line with the RNIB ECLO Quality Framework and Practice guidelines, to people affected by sight loss, their friends, families and carers<br/>• Establish and maintain effective referral pathways to a wide range of relevant organisations and services and make appropriate onward referrals<br/>• Assist with certification and registration processes in line with Department of Health and Social Care’s ‘Certificate of Vision Impairment: Explanatory Notes for Consultant Ophthalmologists and Hospital Eye Clinic Staff in England’<br/>• Promote the ECLO Service as part of the induction process for new clinical staff related to Ophthalmology<br/><br/>The Authority is intending to award a contract to an existing provider following direct award process C. <br/><br/>The lifetime value of this contract is expected to be £220,547.00.<br/><br/>The contract dates are 01.08.26 - 31.07.31
