Outdoor Play and Sports Facilities

Description

This framework is for the design, supply, installation, inspection, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of outdoor play and sports facilities which include, but are not limited to, outdoor play parks, outdoor gym parks, outdoor learning areas, multi-use games areas, wheeled sports areas and artificial surfaces. Lot 1: Design, Supply and Installation of Outdoor Play Areas It is anticipated that this lot will cover design, supply and installation of outdoor play areas which will include outdoor play parks, outdoor gym parks and outdoor learning areas. Whilst this is a national framework for Scotland, tenderers will be able to select which geographical areas (by local authority area) they wish to service. Lot 2: Supply and Installation of Outdoor Play Areas It is anticipated that this lot will cover supply and installation of outdoor play areas which will include outdoor play parks, outdoor gym parks and outdoor learning areas. Whilst this is a national framework for Scotland, tenderers will be able to select which geographical areas (by local authority area) they wish to service. Lot 3: Design, Supply and Installation of Multi-Use Games Areas It is anticipated that this lot will cover design, supply and installation of multi-use games areas. Whilst this is a national framework for Scotland, tenderers will be able to select which geographical areas (by local authority area) they wish to service. Lot 4: Design, Supply and Installation of Wheeled Sports Areas It is anticipated that this lot will cover design, supply and installation of wheeled sports areas for use by a variety of wheeled sports including, but not limited to, skateboards, micro scooters, BMX and inline skates. Whilst this is a national framework for Scotland, tenderers will be able to select which geographical areas (by local authority area) they wish to service. Lot 5: Design of Artificial Surfaces It is anticipated that this lot will cover design of artificial surfaces which includes, but is not limited to, second generation (2G) and third generation (3G) pitches intended for sports such as football, hockey and rugby. Whilst this is a national framework for Scotland, tenderers will be able to select which geographical areas (by local authority area) they wish to service. Lot 6: Design, Supply and Installation of Artificial Surfaces It is anticipated that this lot will cover design, supply and installation of artificial surfaces which includes, but is not limited to, second generation (2G) and third generation (3G) pitches intended for sports such as football, hockey and rugby. Lot 7: Supply and Installation of safety surfacing It is anticipated that this lot will cover supply and installation of safety surfacing in outdoor play areas including outdoor play parks, outdoor gyms and outdoor learning areas. Whilst this is a national framework for Scotland, tenderers will be able to offer for the select geographical regions across scotland they wish to service. Lot 8: Installation It is anticipated that this lot will cover installation of outdoor play parks. outdoor gyms, outdoor learning areas, safer surfaces, Multi-use games areas, wheeled sports areas and artificial surfaces. Whilst this is a national framework for Scotland, tenderers will be able to offer for the select geographical regions across scotland they wish to service. Lot 9: Annual Inspection It is anticipated that this lot will primarily cover annual inspection of outdoor play parks however may also include other inspections for outdoor play areas, outdoor gym areas, outdoor learning areas and Multi-Use Games Areas. Whilst this is a national framework for Scotland, tenderers will be able to offer for the select geographical regions across scotland they wish to service. Lot 10: Maintenance It is anticipated that this lot will cover maintenance and repair of outdoor play areas, outdoor gym areas, multi-use games areas, wheeled sports areas and artificial surfaces. Whilst this is a national framework for Scotland, tenderers will be able to select geographical regions across scotland they wish to service. Lot 11: Supply and Delivery It is anticipated that this lot will cover supply and deliver equipment relating to outdoor play areas, outdoor learning areas, safer surfaces, outdoor gym areas, artificial surfaces, wheeled sports areas and multi-use games areas and any further ancillary materials, components, surfacing or fencing related to these areas. Whilst this is a national framework for Scotland, tenderers will be able to select which geographical areas (by local authority area) they wish to service.
