Valuation Services for Lots 1-5, for assessing and valuing sites pursuant to Lands in the ownership of The Housing Agency within the Land Aggregation Scheme (LAG’S) and Lands acquired under the remit of the Land Acquisition Fund Administered by The Housing Agency. Lot 1: Lot 1 - Dublin and the Greater Dublin Area (GDA) to include Kildare, Meath, Wicklow, Louth Lands in the ownership of The Housing Agency There are currently 72 sites within the ownership of the Housing Agency located nationwide. The Housing Agency within their asset management policy must complete a full revaluation on each site within the Agency’s ownership every 6 years. This is due to be completed in 2024 A desktop update valuation will also be required on each site over the course of 2026. The service provider that was initially awarded the full revaluation will be awarded the desktop update valuation notwithstanding the Framework rules. Land Acquisition Fund – Overview Housing for All includes a target to deliver an average of 33,000 houses per annum in the period to 2030. The focus in Housing for All is to deliver new social homes through build programmes delivered by Local Authorities (LA’s) and Approved Housing Bodies (AHB’s). To achieve this, sufficient land is required to deliver these projects. In this regard, Housing for All includes an action to support local authorities to acquire the land required to deliver the new build projects. In November 2022, the Government approved the establishment of a Land Acquisition Fund to be administered by the Housing Agency (the Agency), with an allocation of €125m in capital funding for 2023. The Agency will be central in managing this national fund for the acquisition of suitable development land to allow LA’s and AHB’s meet their social housing ’delivery targets for social housing out to 2030. The Housing Agency intends to source acquisition opportunities through a variety of platforms and will acquire lands in accordance with the fund’s governance & internal policies and procedures of the Agency. Lot 2: Lot 2 - Leinster to include, Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Offaly, Westmeath, Wexford Lands in the ownership of The Housing Agency There are currently 72 sites within the ownership of the Housing Agency located nationwide.
