NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) intends to undertake a future procurement for the supply of Automatic and Semi-automatic meal container sealing machines and associated consumables to support NHSGGC's Cook Freeze Production Units based at Royal Alexandra Hospital and Inverclyde Royal Hospital. The requirement will include the provision of sealing machines, compatible containers, and lidding film, ensuring full integration with existing food production, freezing, storage, and reheating processes. The current system utilises bespoke equipment and consumables; therefore, any future solution must ensure continuity of service while supporting potential alternative models, including both capital purchase and lease arrangements. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is issued to inform the market of this potential opportunity and to enable early engagement with interested suppliers. The current system utilises bespoke equipment and consumables; therefore, suppliers are invited to demonstrate how their proposed solutions can ensure continuity of service while meeting operational requirements.
