Cambridgeshire County Council Libraries Public Access Provision

Description

The purpose of this soft market test exercise is to explain to suppliers the ambition, technical requirements and the expected scope of the public access I.T. provision replacement across the Public Library estate. We are looking for suppliers to explain products and solutions they have that will help the Cambridgeshire County Council achieve its aims. The Council is looking for a replacement public access I.T. solution and require a modern, flexible, secure, scalable and cost-effective solution. Where possible, the solution should align with the Cloud first principles agreed as part of the IT Strategy and will support the services that users consume as they move to an increasingly cloud based/hosted model. If this isn’t possible then we would like to see the roadmap for the system and whether cloud/hosted features are included in future aspirations. 21 other Local Authorities that have expressed a desire to be named and receive the results of the soft market test, including Coventry, Liverpool, Newcastle, Warwickshire and West Sussex.
