The University has funding for an integrated battery manufacturing line with low throughput for small pouch cells (target electrode area 20-50 cm2) to allow training for battery manufacturing skills and process management skills and to provide battery manufacturing process overview. The purchase of the system will be mainly funded by Innovate UK grant through the Faraday Battery Challenge (UKRI).
