Our Objectives Forestry England's vision is to predominantly shift towards a cashless environment with integration between Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), enforcement and integrated membership systems, plus managed cash collection and optional advanced car counting solutions. We wish to maintain those core elements; however, we are now identifying how we will transition from our existing car park management solution to a desired future state i.e. moving from a high touch car park management system to a low touch solution. Our objective is to establish a new approach to car parking across the estate and to explore the viability for implementing new technologies for the car parking management as a means of improving customer experience alongside Forest Centre sustainability. Work package 1 Pay on Foot (POF) access control system, with or without an integrated Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system. Work package 2 Pay and Display (P&D), with or without an integrated automatic number plate recognition system. Pay by phone – cashless parking solution. Vehicle counting system. Parking enforcement. Car park bay marking and associated maintenance works. Cash collection services — the tenderer will be required to provide the service of cash collection, cash counting and banking and reconciliation reporting. Cash collection from Forestry England’s premises and car park machines at various sites across England plus related cash services.
