AI governance is a cornerstone of safe, ethical, and responsible AI adoption. However, governance structures across NHS Wales bodies lack standardisation and lack alignment with globally recognised standards such as ISO/IEC. Life Sciences Hub Wales seeks to procure the services of a suitably capable and experienced provider (the successful supplier) to: - Assess and map existing governance structures within each NHS Wales body; - Review and map governance routes for AI innovation projects; and - Develop a roadmap for standardised and robust AI governance across NHS Wales. Life Sciences Hub Wales requires a comprehensive review of existing AI governance systems within each NHS Wales body, mapping current governance routes for AI-related initiatives, and identifying gaps and inconsistencies.
