Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) delivers comprehensive skills, education and business support for Scotland’s land-based industries, founded on world class and sector-leading research, education and consultancy. SRUC has been formed by the merger of Barony, Elmwood and Oatridge Colleges and the Scottish Agricultural College. SRUC currently has six campuses at Aberdeen, Ayr, Broxburn, Cupar, Dumfries and Edinburgh. SRUC also operates eight farms in addition to 27 consultancy offices and eight veterinary disease surveillance centres. The SRUC is looking to appoint a service provider for provision of a range of managed cleaning and soft facilities maintenance services, variable on a site by site basis and includes: — cleaning, — housekeeping (residential cleaning, to include a higher level of ‘hotel service’ relating to accommodation rental), — janitorial services and provision of consumables, — internal waste management, — window cleaning, — sanitary products, — portering, — laundry and linen services. The objective, as detailed within the specification, is that the service provider delivers all of the services required using best industry practice.
