This Request for Information (RFI) is conducted for market research purposes only. Please be advised that this exercise does not constitute a commitment by the London Borough of Hackney to proceed to a formal tender process, nor does it guarantee the initiation of any such procurement activity. London Borough of Hackney is undertaking a market testing exercise to identify suitable properties and accommodation options for a high-support, complex mental health step-down service. The primary aim of this service is to support adults (aged 18+) transitioning from secure forensic mental health hospital settings and acute mental health inpatient units back into community living. By establishing a dedicated, high-quality supported accommodation pathway, the council seeks to provide stable, psychologically informed environments while reducing reliance on out-of-borough spot placements. This RFI is purely an exploratory exercise to gauge property availability, provider interest, unit cost viability, and potential delivery timelines across Hackney and neighbouring areas.
