Description

The Marine Systems Support Output Business Unit (MSS) within the Defence Equipment and Support organisation (DE&S), which is part of the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence (UK MOD), intends to place a 5 year contract (plus two one year option years) with Ansell Jones Limited for Post Design Services, Repairs & Overhaul and the provision of Spares for the Supply of Escape Access and Egress Equipment fitted to HM Ships, at an estimated value of £3.9m. In accordance with Regulation 4 of the Defence and Security Contracts (Amendment) (EU Exit) 2019 Regulations (SI 2019/697) this procurement falls to be regulated under the provisions of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 as amended (by SI 2019/697 and SI 2020/1450). Prior publication of a contract notice in the official Journal of the European Union is no longer appropriate.
